These terms explain the rules for using VoiceDrop, how the annual subscription works, and what you can expect from the service.
These Terms of Use apply when you access or use the VoiceDrop website, Chrome extension, activation service, support services, or other services provided in connection with VoiceDrop.
By purchasing, installing, activating, or using VoiceDrop, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use VoiceDrop.
VoiceDrop is a Chrome browser extension designed to let you record voice messages and attach the resulting MP3 files to supported areas of Skool.
Features may include:
Features may change over time as VoiceDrop is improved or as browser and third-party platform requirements change.
The standard VoiceDrop subscription is currently priced at $7 USD per year.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, VoiceDrop is an automatically renewing annual subscription.
Your subscription will renew at the applicable subscription price unless you cancel before the next renewal date.
VoiceDrop may occasionally provide discount codes, promotional pricing, complimentary access, or other special offers.
The terms displayed with a particular offer apply to that offer.
For example, a discount may:
VoiceDrop may refuse, cancel, or correct a promotional offer where it has been obtained through fraud, technical error, or clear abuse.
VoiceDrop purchases and subscriptions are processed through Lemon Squeezy, which handles checkout, payment processing, subscription billing, applicable taxes, and related transaction services.
Prices may be displayed in USD and your payment provider may apply currency conversion or other charges depending on your payment method and location.
Your purchase may also be subject to Lemon Squeezy's own terms and policies.
You may cancel your VoiceDrop subscription at any time.
Cancelling prevents the subscription from automatically renewing at the end of the current subscription period.
After that period ends, VoiceDrop may require a new active subscription before recording functionality can be used again.
Refund requests are handled in accordance with applicable consumer law, the conditions displayed at checkout, and the policies of the merchant processing the transaction.
Unless VoiceDrop specifically publishes a separate refund guarantee, purchasing a subscription does not create an additional refund entitlement beyond any rights provided by applicable law or the checkout provider's applicable policies.
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, contact support so the issue can be reviewed.
VoiceDrop may require activation using the email address associated with your purchase.
The extension may periodically verify that your subscription is still entitled to use paid VoiceDrop functionality.
You agree to provide accurate information when activating VoiceDrop and not intentionally interfere with or circumvent subscription verification.
Temporary technical failures, internet outages, or verification-service outages may affect online checks. VoiceDrop may use locally stored verification information to reduce unnecessary disruption.
You may use VoiceDrop for normal personal, community, educational, professional, or business communication.
You must not use VoiceDrop to:
You remain responsible for the recordings and other content you create or send using VoiceDrop.
VoiceDrop does not claim ownership of your voice recordings.
You are responsible for making sure that you have the right to record, share, or distribute the content you send.
Once you intentionally attach or send a recording through Skool, the handling of that recording may also be subject to Skool's terms, policies, moderation systems, and platform functionality.
VoiceDrop interacts with third-party products and services, including Google Chrome, the Chrome Web Store, Skool, Lemon Squeezy, Cloudflare, and other infrastructure providers.
Those services are operated independently and may change their features, policies, technical requirements, availability, or pricing.
VoiceDrop cannot control changes made by a third-party platform.
VoiceDrop relies on browser functionality and parts of Skool's existing interface and attachment system.
A future update to Chrome, Skool, browser permissions, extension policies, or another technical dependency may temporarily or permanently affect VoiceDrop functionality.
Reasonable efforts may be made to update VoiceDrop where practical, but uninterrupted compatibility with future third-party changes cannot be guaranteed.
VoiceDrop may be updated, modified, improved, temporarily unavailable, or discontinued.
Updates may be necessary for:
VoiceDrop does not guarantee that every feature will remain unchanged forever.
VoiceDrop, including its name, branding, interface, extension code, website content, design, and other original materials, is owned by VoiceDrop, except where third-party components are identified separately.
Purchasing a subscription gives you permission to use VoiceDrop. It does not transfer ownership of VoiceDrop, its source code, branding, or other intellectual property to you.
Third-party open-source components remain subject to their respective licences.
VoiceDrop's handling of personal information is explained in the VoiceDrop Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy forms part of the overall terms governing your use of VoiceDrop.
You can read it at /privacy.
VoiceDrop is provided on an "as available" basis.
While reasonable efforts may be made to keep VoiceDrop working reliably, no software product can guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently compatible operation.
Temporary outages, bugs, browser updates, third-party changes, network problems, or other technical issues may occasionally affect the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VoiceDrop will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar losses arising from your use of or inability to use VoiceDrop.
This may include loss resulting from platform outages, unavailable features, lost recordings, third-party changes, or interruption of access.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
VoiceDrop may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of fraud, deliberate abuse, security risks, unlawful activity, or a serious breach of these terms.
Expiry or cancellation of a subscription may also cause paid VoiceDrop recording functionality to become unavailable after the applicable subscription period ends.
These Terms of Use may be updated as VoiceDrop changes, new features are added, legal requirements change, or third-party services change.
The current version will be published on this page with an updated date.
Material changes that require additional notice or consent will be handled as required by applicable law.
